About Remarques

Tony Regan is one of the only motorsport artists to offer ”Hand Remarquing”, also known as "Hand Embellishing".

Tony hand applies a special gouache paint on to parts of the lithograph print, picking out and enhancing certain fine details, with the appropriate and accurate fluorescent colours, making each print an original or one-of-a-kind.

This painted Remarque service is very exclusive and is offered to add value to your limited edition lithograph by having a unique and personal touch, to each limited edition lithograph. Each edition is limited to 250 pieces only worldwide and comes with a special certificate of authenticity, hand numbered and signed by the artist along with the artwork.

In the photographs above, you can see Tony applying the gouache paint directly on to the limited edition lithograph prints of ”Untouchable” Ayrton Senna and "Winner ofOz" Jenson Button. Tony is "Remarquing" the yellow of Ayrton Senna's crash helmet along with the JPS livery of the Lotus and the rocket red of the McLaren livery among other highlights. The application of the fluorescent paint, not only creates a unique one-of-a-kind "Hand Remarqued" print, it also creates a more realistic appearance to the limited edition lithograph.
